Mindless Eating; What NOT to do


How many times have you sat down in front of the TV with a bag of chips or a big bowl of popcorn, only to find that bag or bowl empty at the end of the show? 

While you may think it tasted good going down, how much did you really get to enjoy it?  The TV led you to be distracted from appreciating and savouring the taste, smells, and textures of the food. Not to mention over-consumption of empty calories. 

This is what we call Mindless Eating.

Eliminating these habits, and any other distractions while eating, is the first step to eating mindfully .
