Banana Oat Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 ice cubes
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup unsweetened soy or almond milk, or use half soy or almond milk and half plain nonfat or lowfat yogurt
- 2 Tbsp cooked steel cut oats
Directions:
- Place ice cubes into blender and blend to crush.
- Add the remaining ingredients; blend until smooth.
This smoothie is nutritious and soothing during Phase 1 (you are currently experiencing a flare.)
