We'd like to officially welcome you to UMass Chan Medical School. This blog is a great place to connect with other new employees and learn more about our culture and community. We will schedule some meetups and lunches during your first few months so you can connect with one another. We invite you to post questions and comments. You are encouraged to help answer questions for others as well. The transition into your new role should be as smooth as possible and we want to set you up for success.

This is a reminder that there is a lunch meetup on Thursday, August 4th at noon at the Albert Sherman Cafe at the University Campus. I'll reserve a few tables by the window. We will be hosting a new hire lunch meetup for all new employees hired since April. We will be meeting at the Albert Sherman Cafe on Thursday, August 4th at Noon. Our first lunch meetup in April went really well. A handful of people showed up and it was great learning more about their experiences since starting at UMass Chan Medical School. They said that everyone has been so nice and helpful with their transition to their new roles. We'd love to see more of you come to our next lunch meetup. We'll be scheduling one in June or July, so keep checking back and come if you can - it's a great networking experience and we're here to answer questions and help you get more familiar with UMass Chan Medical School.
