Faculty Inducted into Global Humanism Honor Society

On Wednesday, May 27, the UMass Chan Medical School chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society inducted 41 members who have demonstrated compassionate, patient-centered care. The new inductees include 31 MD and MD/PhD students from the Class of 2027, six residents, and four faculty members. Two radiology faculty members were inducted into the honor society; Ryan Tai, MD and Jill Zitzewitz, PhD.

The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) is a community of medical students, physicians, and other leaders who have been recognized for their compassionate care. GHHS reinforces and supports the human connection in healthcare, which is essential for the health of patients and clinicians.
