Elective Description: To acquaint the student with the practice of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Outpatient and bedside evaluation and sound use of kiagnostic procedures will be stressed. Students will participate in daily work rounds, inpatient consultations and busy musculoskeletal disorder office practice. They will work directly with attending physicians helping to manage acute and chronic disabilities, while placing these problems in the proper perspective according to the individual patient’s impairment. |
