International Visiting Medical Student Program

The International Visiting Medical Student Program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) is available to qualified medical students from schools with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UMMS. In addition, we will be accepting applications from non-MOU schools using VSLO. Students must be in good academic standing and in their final clinical year of medical school education. We offer a variety of electives at UMMS teaching sites. Electives for visiting students are available on a competitive basis each academic year.

A list of currently approved medical schools with MOUs may be accessed at this link.

If you are a student from a school without a MOU with UMass, click here for more info.
