Elective Description: The student will learn about the evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders and how to act as a consultant in gastroenterology. He/she will have active involvement in a teaching hospital gastroenterology inpatient consult service. Additionally, the student will have the opportunity to observe both inpatient and outpatient procedures. |
