UMass Emergency Radiology Well Represented at ASER 2025
Our Emergency Radiology faculty had a strong presence at the American Society of Emergency Radiology (ASER) Annual Meeting in Denver this October. The conference featured valuable discussions on addressing staffing challenges, managing rising imaging volumes, and integrating AI thoughtfully into clinical workflows. Dr. Hao Lo and former UMass resident Dr. Matt Dattwyler moderated a session on Abdominal Trauma, while Drs. Carolyn Dupuis and Dominique Rowcroft led an engaging session on Non-traumatic Abdominopelvic Emergencies. It was also wonderful to reconnect with former UMass residents Drs. Paul Jaffray and Paul Nielsen, as well as former fellow and faculty member Dr. Gaby Santos-Nuñez. The meeting was both productive and energizing, and our team returned with new ideas and renewed enthusiasm for advancing our emergency imaging practice.
