Elective Description: This experience is meant to allow students interested in OB GYN to divide their 4 weeks among different inpatient and ouptatient areas of OB GYN. Examples include: night float OB, OBGYN ambulatory medicine at Community Women's Care-our residents' outpatient clinic, OB and gyn ultrasound, genetic counseling, Gyn surgery and surgical subspecialities. Students will meet with the elective director and coordinator at the start of their rotation to determine a schedule to best meet the needs of the student. Please note that certain opportunities may not be available in a given block due to faculty, resident and UMass Chan student schedule constraints. |
