Elective Description: One to three students per month are accepted and become a full and valued member of the intern, resident, fellow and cardiologist attending team. An indepth understanding of the pathobiology, diagnoses and management of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, thrombotic disorders and myocardial disease will be gained through daily lectures, CCU rounds, bedside physical diagnoses sessions and care of patients with unstable angina, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure and cardiogenic shock. Students will have an in-depth and valuable experience in the field of cardiology-critical care. | |
