Careers in Medicine at T.H. Chan School of Medicine

The T.H. Chan Schoo of Medicine Careers in Medicine (CiM) course series provides a comprehensive, longitudinal framework to guide medical students through career exploration, specialty selection, and residency preparation. Beginning with an introduction to medical school structure and professional responsibilities, the curriculum progresses through key phases of medical education, including clinical exploration, specialty decision-making, and strategic planning for the fourth year. Students receive guidance on residency applications, interviewing, and the Match process while engaging with faculty, peers, and residency program directors. Each session offers timely advice, policy updates, and opportunities for personalized questions to ensure students are well-prepared for their future careers in medicine.

*All our sessions are required components of your medical school curriculum; each with incredibly valuable career planning information from our campus experts.
