| Elective Description: The student will further develop skills in the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric patients in an acute care setting, with both inpatient and partial hospital care models. Students will increase their understanding of psychopharmacology, focused short-term therapies, psycho education, family and system interventions, and dual diagnosis treatments (mental health and substance abuse). | |
