Prerequisites: Completion of Pediatrics Clerkship 
Elective Description: The student will attend outpatient clinic at the University or Memorial Campus seeing pediatric and adult patients 4 days per week. Student will attend outpatient clinic at the Memorial Campus seeing prenatal patients one morning per week and hereditary breast cancer patients once every other week.  The student participates in inpatient consults, conferences, lectures. Student will also learn principles of dysmorphology, recognition of chromosomal disorders, diagnosis and treatment and inherited diseases.  Student will also learn principles and ethics of genetic counseling and genetic testing.
