NARSAD Event at UMass Chan Medical School
National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD), The Brain and Behavior Research Fund (formerly known as the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression), is a leading foundation in providing mental health research grant support. It helps the best and brightest scientific minds unravel the complexities of schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders such as PTSD and OCD and childhood disorders that include autism and ADHD. It is collaborating with 50 top universities and medical research centers to hold a series of same-day forums to highlight mental health research accomplishments, innovative treatments and breakthroughs on the horizon. The UMass Department of Psychiatry is proud to work with NARSAD again this year to provide the forum at the UMass Chan Medical School.
The forum will be moderated by Dr. Douglas M. Ziedonis, professor and chair of our department and features our own faculty: Anthony J. Rothschild, M.D.; Curtis Deutsch, Ph.D.; and Alexis Henry, Ph.D.
It is open to the public at no cost. Space is limited. Reservations are recommended.
