Preparing for Your Performance Appraisal

episerverYou will soon be scheduling a meeting with your Manager for your annual performance review. You may recall that this year, we will be using our New UMMS Performance Appraisal Form and process. This training will reacquaint you with the new form and process as well as provide you with the steps you can take now to ensure that you have a productive and successful performance appraisal meeting now and throughout the year.

Preparing for Your Performance Appraisal: Tips for Making the Most of the Annual Appraisal Meeting with Your Manager training runs from March through April, 2019. Please see below for details on the course and how to register:

Audience: All employees*

Instructor: Brion Carroll, Director, Organizational Development 

Prerequisite: None

Description: This class will provide participants with valuable information and action steps to ensure productive and successful performance review meetings. Topics include: 

  • Understanding the key elements of the new UMMS Performance Appraisal Form and Process 
  • Review the optional self-evaluation form
  • General review of the UMMS Competency model and core competencies prior to your annual performance review
  • Setting your goals for the next fiscal year
  • How to make the most of your review meeting
  • Steps to take after the review
  • Making the most of your regular 1:1s with your manager throughout the year
