Han joined Sontheimer lab in 2019 as a PhD student, and defended her thesis in 2024.

She's now working as a postdoc in the Sontheimer lab and a project manager for the Rett Syndrome Research Trust. Her focus is developing single-AAV delivered adenine base editor to correct point mutations in Rett syndrome, and help pushing the therapeutic approach to pre-IND and IND stages.
