Research
Dr. Tupler is a physician-scientist who splits her time between UMass Chan and her position at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy, where she is a tenured Associate Professor. Her research focuses on the molecular genetics of human degenerative diseases, with a particular focus on a neuromuscular disease called facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). Research space is available for Dr. Tupler in Michael Green’s lab.
