A Generic Block is the most basic and versitile block. It allows for content to be positioned anywhere on your page (any drop block area) and can be re-used on as many pages as you wish. Blocks can be shared with other sites as well.
The Eventbrite Listing Block is used to list events that have been created in EventBrite which is a third-party platform for creating and managing events. The block is very easy to set up allowing editors to set the number of events to display, as well as link to a page listing all events.
Eventbrite is free to use if you are running a free event. On our intranet, you will find information on how to create an EventBrite account, additional information on settng up events that require payment, managing events and then creating the Episerver block to display your events.
An Accordion Block allows you to add interactive content to your page as well as adding a lot of content in a smaller vertical space. The first item will of your list will display while the following items will be hidden with a "+" icon noting these items can be expanded. Upon expanding another item, the items that is open will now close so only 1 item displays at a time.
This block is a container for other blocks which allows you to set a background color that extends the full width of the browser. This can be used to help break up the layout and highlight your information.
You can add an image to the WYSIWYG editor and set the format so text wraps around your image. You can set it left, right or centered. Please note that if centered, text will not wrap but rather flow to the the next line under the image.
There are built-in gadgets both for the Episerver platform and product-specific ones, for example, gadgets for forms viewing, visitor groups statistics and version management.
