A new way of requesting assistance with our university’s content management system, Optimizely CMS, formally known as Episerver, is now available. A new service catalog Content Management System (Optimizely) has been created in ServiceNow with a form for each type of request:

• CMS Feature Enhancement: Request to have custom functionality or integration built
• CMS Support: Request for assistance and guidance with creating or updating website content
• New CMS Account: Request for access to edit a website
• New CMS Tenant: Request for a stand-alone site with its own branding
• New CMS Website: Request a new microsite on the university’s website

We have also retired “Episerver” in our ServiceNow ticketing system, replaced by “Content Management System (Optimizely)” as the application to select when opening an Incident or Application Request.

In addition, we have a new email address that can be used for questions or feedback on our content management system: OptimizelyCMS@umassmed.edu. There is also a new UMass Chan CMS Yammer community to get the latest news, updates on issues, and new functionality in Optimizely CMS.
