Meet Our Family Health Residents!

 

PGY-1:

   
   

An-Hoa Giang, MD is a 2017 graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine where she was enrolled in the joint MD/MPH program. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Rochester, where she completed her BS in Microbiology and Immunology. An-Hoa’s academic interests include maternal child health and global health and her personal interests include rock climbing, skiing and cooking. 

     
 

Thanh Thu Ngo, MD is a 2017 graduate of UMass Chan Medical School and earned her BA in Biology from Wellesley College in 2010. Originally from Vietnam, Thu worked as a research coordinator in Boston prior to medical school. Her academic interests include maternal child health and global health. Thu also enjoys running, hiking and knitting. 

     
   

Nicele Puente, MD is a 2017 graduate of University of Virginia School of Medicine and earned her BA in International Relations from Boston University in 2004. Prior to medical school, Nicele served in the U.S. Army where she earned the rank of captain. Her academic interests include global health and adolescent medicine. Nicele also enjoys hiking and running.

     
   

Tri Trang, MD is a 2017 graduate of Albany Medical College and a 2012 graduate of Union College where he studied both Biology and Economics. Tri is a Worcester native and attended high school in the city. His interests include global health and working with diverse populations. Outside of the classroom, Tri also enjoys dancing, travel and physical fitness.



PGY-2:

   
 

Kevin Abraham, MD is a 2016 graduate of UMass Chan Medical School and a 2012 graduate of UMass-Amherst, where he earned his BS in Biology. Kevin grew up in Bedford, MA and is the younger brother of recent WFMR graduate  Jemini Abraham. At UMass, Kevin was the co-leader of the OB/GYN interest group. His personal interests include running, singing and dance.
