Meet Our Family Health Residents!

 

PGY-1:

     
 

Kevin Abraham, MD is a 2016 graduate of UMass Chan Medical School and a 2012 graduate of UMass-Amherst, where he earned his BS in Biology. Kevin grew up in Bedford, MA and is the younger brother of recent WFMR graduate  Jemini Abraham. At UMass, Kevin was the co-leader of the OB/GYN interest group. His personal interests include running, singing and dance. 

 
       
 

Luis Raulo Colon-Mulero, MD is a 2016 graduate of University Of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, having earned his BS in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico in 2009. Raulo founded the FMIG group at his medical school and is interested in global health, population health and health advocacy. A singer and guitarist, Raulo also enjoys playing soccer.

 
       
 

Shannon Roche, DO is a 2016 graduate of Western Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a 2011 graduate of University of New England where she studied Medical Biology and Philosophy. Shannon spent a year as an AmericaCorps VISTA volunteer prior to medical school.  She enjoys working with underserved populations and also enjoys reading, hiking and travel. 

 
       
 

Benjamin Slocum, DO is a 2016 graduate of University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and a 2012 graduate of University of Maine-Orono where he received his BS in Biology. Benjamin’s academic interests include community health and addiction medicine. He also enjoys soccer, sailing and hiking.

 
       

PGY-2:

     
 

Omar Abduljabar, MD is a 2005 graduate of Al-Kindy College of Medicine in Iraq. Prior to residency, he worked as a medical interpreter and cultural case manager at Family Health Center. Omar was in the midst of residency training in Jordan prior to arriving in the US. He has also recently worked as a clinical research associate at Memorial Hospital. Omar also enjoys playing soccer in his free time.
