CCTS Summer Undergraduate Clinical Research Internship

UMCCTS offers a full-time, 10-week Summer Undergraduate Clinical Research Internship Program in collaboration with the UMass campuses around the commonwealth.

Students considering a health-focused career who are interested in working in the field of clinical and translational research upon graduation should apply for this unique opportunity at the UMass Chan Medical School Campus in Worcester, MA. Undergraduate interns will get an understanding of the array of career opportunities available and gain a wholistic understanding of the field of clinical research. Interns will undergo a rigorous training program and participate in hands-on learning as part of a clinical research team. Project experiences vary based on research team assignment, though include diverse activities such as shadowing staff in research positions, learning about various disease states, enrolling and consenting research participants, learning about digital medicine techniques, educating patients, collecting and inputting data, and engaging in the regulatory process.
