Welcome to PHARE
The PHARE (Pharmacy-Health Services-Aging Research-Epidemiology) Study Group is an interdisciplinary research unit of the UMass Chan Medical School in the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences. The overarching goal of the PHARE Study Group is to generate robust scientific evidence from observational studies in patient populations typically excluded from clinical trials, to advance our understanding of the operating characteristics of the advanced statistical methods used to generate unbiased estimates from observation studies, and to train the next generation of scientists to conduct innovative, clinically relevant research.
