Kelley provides administrative support to the PHARE team.  She has been working at the UMass Chan since 1988 and in the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences since 2009. As an Administrative Assistant for the Division of Epidemiology of Chronic Diseases and Vulnerable Populations, she provides direct administrative support assisting with grant preparation, manuscript submissions, CV and biosketch updates, processing purchasing orders, and, assisting with new faculty appointments, among other duties.

She also supports Dr. Kate Lapane, the leader of the PHARE study group and the Director of the Doctoral Program in Clinical and Population Health Research (CPHR). Kelley assists with all trainee needs, schedules and coordinates prospective trainee interviews and helps with travel coordination. With active trainees, Kelley schedules thesis defenses and prepares all the necessary paperwork, seeing each student through to graduation.

Emily is a Research Assistant for Kate Lapane. She has a BA from Macalester College, where she studied Geography and Public Health. She also has prior experience as a Communications Specialist at the Minnesota Department of Health.
