Understanding Office 365
Microsoft Office 365, also known as O365, combines the Office applications you already use and are familiar with, together with new cloud services like OneDrive, Yammer, and Skype for Business, to make your work easier and more reliable.
By moving the UMass community to Office 365, we are putting email and calendar functionality into the cloud. This means, more inbox storage, more options for personal storage, and a better webmail experience. Office 365 also includes great tools for online collaboration and document sharing, making working together easier than ever. UMass is making the move seamless, other than a quick login, and updating the settings on your phone, you won't need to do anything else.
As part of the Office 365 migration, UMass is also introducing QuickHelp, your one stop shop for learning all about Office 365. QuickHelp covers everything from the basics, to things you might want to learn like mail merge and creating pivot tables.
