HSHCP Curriculum
The HSCHP will be held Sunday June 30, 2024 to Friday July 26, 2024.
Participants are placed in two groups for the academic enrichment classes in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science/Biology and Information Technology. All enrichment classes are held Monday through Thursday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the main campus of UMass Chan Medical School. Two Fridays are reserved for field trips. The first trip is to Tufts Veterinary School, in Grafton MA and the second is to the Forensic Laboratory at Mass Bay Community College in Wellesley, MA. Participants attend assigned internships Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The CCHI Seminars are conducted Monday through Thursday from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Students are also given guidelines that outline the criteria for their final project on "Health Disparities." The curriculum themes for the enrichment courses include the following: Challenging Your Goals, Forensics and Body Works.

Virtual Format:
Should the program be conducted virtually, all participants must have access to a computer or laptop and agree to be visible on camera during all classes and lectures.
