Imaging Showcase 2024 Raffle

The Imaging Showcase Committee is happy to announce a special raffle promotion at the upcoming event! For the first time, we have the opportunity to subsidize select SCOPE services for our lucky raffle winners!

Prizes

Winners will get to choose from a menu of options for their prize. Each option is valued between $350 and $600. The prizes are one-time use and cannot be split over multiple bookings. Prizes must be redeemed by June 1, 2025.  Prizes are funded by the Imaging Showcase Fund at the time of service. Options include:

1. Training on SCOPE instrumentation for up to 2 participants 
2. Assisted Imaging Session (2 hours) 
3. Instrument Time (1 calendar day) 
4. Instrument time for 1 spatial sample run Vizgen MERSCOPE or Nanostring GeoMx - (instrument fee only, reagents and sample preparation fee are NOT included)
5. 4 hours of Data Analysis Support
6. Vizgen MERFISH sample verification kit for mouse or human tissue (Probes only. Sample preparation fees, additional reagents and instrument fee are NOT included.) 

How to Participate

1. Collect Raffle Tickets: UMass Chan participants can collect raffle tickets from each of the vendors at the Imaging Showcase Event.
2. Frequent SCOPE Users Bonus: From October 21st to November 6th, frequent users of SCOPE services will receive additional raffle tickets. These tickets can be earned by utilizing SCOPE billable resources, including but not limited to microscope time, assisted imaging, training, analysis workstation time, and spatial transcriptomics runs.

Ticket Drop Off

Drop off your collected tickets in the collection bowl at the SCOPE table by 2:45 PM on the day of the Imaging Showcase Event, November 7^th, 2024! Tickets must be filled out completely to be eligible.

Raffle Draw

Four raffle winners will be drawn at 2:50 PM and announced before the start of the Fredric S. Fay Lecture.
