I am the director of the SCOPE, a position I assumed in 2017. My extensive experience with wide-field, confocal, and multi-photon imaging, plus my skills in molecular tools development and quantitative image analysis allows me to provide essential scientific support to the UMass Chan Medical School (UMMS) research community. Under my leadership, the SCOPE has become a catalyst for optical experimentation at UMMS, serving as a site where engineers and biologists interact to develop innovative instruments and analysis methodologies that are readily accessible to the community.
