Advanced Quantitative Imaging

The UMass Chan Medical School light microscopy core facility, the Sanderson Center for Optical Experimentation (SCOPE), offers the tools and expertise required to perform a wide variety of quantitative microscopy techniques including super resolution imaging, multi-photon intravital and live tissue imaging, confocal microscopy and high-speed time-lapse imaging. The SCOPE offers a combination of commercial and custom-built microscopes, allowing users to address an extensive array of biological questions.

Slide Scanning Services are currently unavailable due to issues with the equipment -If you have urgent slide scanning needs please email us and we can work to find other options for you.

PLEASE NOTE: Slide Scanning Services will be taking a short break for the holidays. Slide submissions received after December 15th, 2023 WILL NOT be processed until 2024. DO NOT drop off samples after December 22nd, 2023 as no SCOPE Staff members will be on site to receive them and store them properly. Slide Scanning services will resume January 2, 2024.
