22nd Annual UMass Cancer Walk & Run 2020
Over the past three years, the IT staff have raised more than $17,600 to support the work of the UMass Memorial Foundation. This year, the UMass Chan IT team has a goal of $5,000. The team is comprised of IT staff, families, and friends from both inside and outside of UMass. You can help us reach our goal!
How can I get involved?
- You can REGISTER for the 2020 UMass Cancer Walk & Run as a walker or runner, or start a team; or
- You can make a DONATION to the UMass Chan IT Team!
What are the event details?
This year’s event will be held virtually in order to protect everyone from the COVID-19 pandemic. You can walk or run in a place and at a pace and distance most comfortable for you.
If you would like to help, please register then get out and walk and/or run on Sunday, September 13th, 2020 at your place, your pace! Because cancer didn't stop. And neither will we!
Want an incentive to participate?
Greg has agreed to sponsor each walker/runner from UMass Chan IT and contribute $25 to their fundraising page. Plus, Greg will contribute 10 cents for every miles of training done from July 4th through the race. So, if someone trains 100 miles during that timeframe, Greg will be sponsoring that person with $35 instead of $25. The miles can’t be "regular" walks or the like, but specifically meant for training. It will be on the honor system utilizing this Office 365 Form.
