CALL FOR PROPOSALS! Deadline for submissions is October 27, 2017. We invite you to submit proposals for research benefiting children, youth and their families at the Tampa conference which will be held on March 4-7, 2018

Date Posted: Wednesday, August 30, 2017

The 31st Annual Research & Policy Conference on Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Behavioral Health will be held March 4-7, 2018 at the Hilton Tampa Downtown Hotel.  Commonly called "The Tampa Conference," this annual gathering of more than 500 researchers, evaluators, policy-makers, administrators, service providers, parents, and advocates is hosted by the Department of Child and Family Studies at the University of South Florida and the Children's Mental Health Network, in partnership with several organizations, including the Transitions RTC

The conference sponsors a track on transition-age youth and young adults. The goal is to share research findings to improve the lives of and services, treatments, and supports for youth and young adults (ages 16-30) living with mental health conditions. This track also includes research on issues relating to the transition to adulthood for adolescents. This year, we are also encouraging research on community participation, education, and employment in an effort to highlight the current state of the science in these areas.

The Call for Proposals is now open and we invite you to submit proposals for research benefiting children, youth and their families. Proposals should focus on research useful to improving service systems, policies, workforce development, and practice for child, adolescent, and young adult behavioral health.

Submission Deadline: October 27, 2017.
