Ami Patel Presents Work at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases Liver Meeting 2025
Ami Patel, DO, PGY3, presented her research findings at the 2025 American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases Liver Meeting in Washington, DC, in early November. Dr. Patel presented three posters titled “The Effect of Medical Assisted Therapy on Liver-Related Outcomes in Patients with Alcohol Use Disorder After Transplantation,” “Trends in MAT and GLP-1 Utilization after Liver Transplantation Based on Sociodemographic Variables: A National Cohort Analysis,” and “The Role of Social Determinants of Health on Hepatitis B During Pregnancy, in Massachusetts and Within the United States.”
Other contributors to these projects include Deepika Devuni, MD, associate professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Anita Krishnarao, MD, MPH, assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Taylor Seacor, MD, PGY3, Katherine Cooper, MD, and Alessandro Colletta, MD.
