Allan Walkey, Anil Chandraker, Jennifer Wang, and Nathaniel Hafer Named to UMass Chan Research Leadership Roles
Allan Walkey, MD, MSc, chief and professor of medicine in the Division of Health Systems Science, Anil Chandraker, MD, chief and professor and the Jack M. Wilson Chair in Biomedical Research, Jennifer Wang, MD, professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, and Nathaniel Hafer, PhD, associate professor in the Program in Molecular Medicine, have been named to UMass Chan Research Leadership roles.
UMass Chan Research, an integrated office of research, will bring together the people, services, infrastructure, and expertise that support research across the institution, from fundamental discovery and basic science investigation through translational development, clinical research, implementation, and commercialization.

Dr. Walkey will serve as associate vice chancellor for clinical and translational research.
Dr. Chandraker will serve as executive director of the Human Research Protection Program.
Dr. Wang will serve as medical director of the UMass Chan Clinical Research Center.
Dr. Hafer will transition from his role as associate vice provost for clinical and translational research and serve as associate vice chancellor for research innovation.
