Hometown

Thompson, Connecticut.

What are your clinical and research interests?
My primary clinical interest is rheumatology, with a special focus on rheumatoid arthritis. I'm passionate about understanding the challenging mechanisms of autoimmune disease and being able to change the course of the disease. Giving patients a quality of life is my major goal

Why did you choose UMass Chan for your fellowship?
I chose UMass Chan because it offers an outstanding balance of clinical training and research opportunities. I also appreciate that UMass Chan values diversity, fosters an inclusive environment, and is committed to supporting people from the community.

Are you involved in any other groups or activities at UMass Chan that you'd like to highlight?
Yes! I'm part of the GME Medical Education Track, where I'm developing my skills as both a rheumatologist and a future medical educator. My goal is to become an expert in autoimmune diseases while also helping educate and mentor the next generation of physicians.

Where is your favorite place to travel for vacation and why?
I love visiting Napa Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. They offer an incredible combination of culture, amazing food, and world-class wine, making them perfect places to relax and explore.

What was your favorite book as a child?
The Little Prince. I loved how it sparked my imagination, encouraged curiosity about different cultures, and inspired me to better understand people and the world around me.

Favorite holiday?
Christmas. It's a special time to celebrate family, traditions, and being together with loved ones.

What song or artist do you hope comes on first when you press random play on your playlist?
"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2. It's one of my favorite songs and always a great one to hear.
