Shruti Hegde Presents at the Central Florida Physicians Conference 

Shruti Hegde, MD, FACC, assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, presented at the Central Florida Physicians Conference in Orlando, Florida, in early August. The conference is a prominent local and regional meeting bringing together cardiologists from across the area. Dr. Hegde was invited to deliver two presentations, one focusing on the latest advances in coronary CT, highlighting innovations in imaging technology, plaque analysis, and CT-FFR, and another on recent developments in the diagnosis and management of cardiac amyloidosis, including emerging therapeutic options and screening strategies. According to Dr. Hegde, the conference provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas, share practical insights, and discuss real-world challenges with colleagues passionate about advancing cardiovascular care in their communities.
