Jeffrey Shih Featured in WTNH Channel 8 News “Wednesday’s Warrior” Segment
Jeffrey Shih, MD, associate professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, medical director of the Ventricular Assist Device Program, and director of the Advanced Heart Failure Program at UMass Memorial Health, was recently featured in a WTNH Channel News 8 “Wednesday’s Warrior” segment. Dr. Shih discussed the lifesaving surgery performed on a 34-year-old patient who was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in March.
