In an exciting effort to expand patient services, the Division of Renal Medicine has relocated its services to Tri-River, a facility that has evolved into a multidisciplinary center for patients. With the move completed in late March, the team aims to improve access to care by making it easier for patients to see their nephrologists and receive seamless referrals to other Tri-River specialties, such as cardiology, endocrinology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, and more.

The team working on the move included Anil Chandraker, MD, the Jack M. Wilson Chair in Biomedical Research, academic chief and professor of medicine in the Division of Renal Medicine, Kenneth Ralto, MD, clinical chief and associate professor of medicine in the Division of Renal Medicine, Andrew Siber, MD, assistant professor of medicine at Tri-River, Deborah Blazey-Martin, MD, MPH, FACP, chief and associate professor of medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Shavel Aldophe, director of ambulatory operations, Christine Vallee, senior director of ambulatory operations, Jeremy Edens, manager of ambulatory operations, Kimberly Cook, MA, Sonia Sousa, MA, and Kendra Eddy, senior project manager.

“The positive feedback we get for our physicians is tremendous. They care for patients in a very fluid way and are focused on providing truly excellent patient care,” said Dr. Chandraker.
