MD CAMP Program Application FAQ's

All participants must be current sophomores or juniors from Massachusetts High School and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply (see eligibility page for all requirements)

  • Participants MUST have proof of health insurance coverage prior to acceptance to the program.

Applications must be submitted online from the Apply Now menu item on the left side of this page. Applications will be available on March 1st 2026 through May 15th by 11:59 pm Eastern time. The application and all supporting documents (transcript/s, personal statement, letters of recommendation) must be submitted by the deadline. No extensions for the deadline.

  1. Can I save my online application and return later to complete it?
    • Yes, you can complete the application one section at a time, but it is recommended to complete the essays on a separate document and copy/pasting in the application when complete.

  2. Helpful tips for using the application website:
    • The site works best on a PC or Mac using Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers.
    • It does not support tablets or mobile phones.
    • If you encounter issues, try clearing your browser cache.
  3. Do I need to provide a Transcript?
    • Yes, this will be uploaded in PDF format into the application. Unofficial transcripts are accepted.
  4. Who should I ask for Letters of Recommendation (LORs)?
    • Choose faculty who know you well, especially those you’ve taken multiple classes with, done major projects for, or who have given you strong evaluations. Applicants will upload the letter directly into the application in PDF format.

  5. Will meals be provided?
    • The program is completely free to attend and includes meal vouchers.
