Now Recruiting: ACTsocial for Emerging Adults Research Advisory Board

The ACTsocial for Emerging Adults research study is creating a specific advisory board of 4-6 young adults (ages 18-26) with mental health conditions who currently live in Massachusetts to provide input on a research project called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Emerging Adults (ACTsocial-EA). Our project aims to improve social connectedness and enhance mental health among young adults with mental health conditions.

ACTsocial-EA is a version of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is a counseling approach that helps a person identify what they value in life and work towards achieving these goals, even in the face of challenges.

We want to hear your feedback on how to adapt our treatment manual to affirm the identities of and meet the unique needs of young adults with mental health conditions.
