Biography

Hometown: Miami, FL

Undergraduate Institution: Duke University, Durham, NC

Future Plans: Not sure yet, but I’m interested in colorectal, MIS, and surgical oncology. Additionally, I have interests in surgical education and disparities in surgical care. 

Why UMass?: I felt UMass had the perfect balance of producing technically skilled surgeons who were ready to go straight into practice while also providing numerous opportunities for academic growth. I also loved the warm friendly vibes on the interview day!

Favorite thing to do in Worcester: Playing tennis by the lake, trying new restaurants/cafes, and looking forward to skiing in the wintertime!
