Why UMASS?: I did medical school here and it was evident to me early on how supportive the surgery department was of their residents. There is great clinical training, early experience in the OR, and plenty of research that is easy to get involved in.
Favorite things to do in Worcester?: Lots of good restaurants and breweries in the area, Woo Sox games, and easy access to outdoor activities.
