About Us

Best Buddies is an international organization that promotes one-to-one friendships between individuals with intellectual or development disabilities (IDD) and individuals without IDD. Through friendship, Best Buddies aims to increase inclusion of individuals with IDD. Best Buddies at UMass Chan matches medical students together with individuals with IDD from the community so that they can form one-to-one friendships.
