/uploadedImages/MaPS/Shared_Equipment_description_pages/Picture 5.png Leica SP-2 Laser Scanning Confocal Fluorescence Microscope  location: S5-213d    status: In Service.    to schedule use

Upright scope based on Leica DM RXA2 upright microscope base. Six laser lines at 458, 476,488,514, 543, and 633 nm. Three independent tunable detectors for fluorescence or reflected light. One transmitted light detector for DIC , Pol, bright field, dark field. Stage manual in X-Y. Equipped with dipping objectives.

Objectives:

The 10, 20, and 63X objectives are water immersion "dipping" objectives which are designed to be lowered into a wet dish.
The 63X PL lens is non dipping but can be focused for differences in coverslip thickness, temperature, media salinity

10X HCX APO na= 0.30 water
20X HCX APO na= 0.50 water
63X HCX APO na= 0.90 water
63X HCX PL APO na=1.2  water corr cs (best for fluorescence)
