Did you know that rare diseases are estimated to affect about 1 in 15 persons worldwide? That's more than 400 millions people!

Our lab is dedicated to rare disease research, we develop gene therapy treatments for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, and Huntington's disease. We are also involved in research on cystic fibrosis, and Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome.
