UMass Chan Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Present Inflammatory Arthritis Day 

On December 5, 2025, the UMass community participated in Inflammatory Arthritis Day at the AC Hotel in Worcester. The symposium brought together renowned leaders in autoimmunity and inflammatory arthritis pathogenesis and treatment for a day of scientific exchange, collaboration, and innovation. Karen Salomon-Escoto, MD, associate professor of medicine in the Division of Rheumatology and director of the UMass Inflammatory Arthritis Program, led the event, which featured speakers in the field of rheumatology from both UMass Chan and external institutions.
