Policies & Guidelines
The UMass Chan Medical School Information Technology groups work to ensure everyone at UMass Chan understands their role and responsibilities to protect the school’s information and computer environment. The Information Technology Department has developed a series of policies through the University's Policy Committee. In addition, for more hands on advice, the Information Technology Department has developed standards, procedures, guidelines and best practices providing guidance to every day security concerns. Lastly, students are provided specific guidelines applicable to their academic technologies which are included on the guideline page.
