The Sick Leave Bank (SLB) program is available to non-union, SHARE and NAGE employees. It is designed to assist employees with a bridge of income between accrued time off and long-term disability benefits. Employees must contribute 16 hours of sick time to the bank in order to enroll.

Enrollment Information

You may enroll as a new hire within your first 10 calendar days of employment, and the enrollment will be processed in the pay period following attainment of one work-week of sick time. Employees who do not enroll as a new hire may enroll during the Open Enrollment period that occurs each April/May.

In order to become a member, an employee must have the equivalent of a week's accrual of sick time (pro-rated based on percent of time) and contribute 16 hours of sick time to the Bank.
