Webinar #1: Trauma-Informed Care for Primary Care Professionals

Sarah Pearson, Psy.D. earned her B.A. in Psychology from Stonehill College in Easton, MA, and completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University New England. Dr. Pearson completed her pre-doctoral internship within the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine with a major rotation in Integrated Primary Care and minor rotations in Bone Marrow Transplant & Oncology and Adult Sleep Medicine. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Primary Care Psychology and Medical Education at the UMass Chan Medical School. Her current role focuses on providing behavioral health care to patients at the Barre Family Health Center, a rural, integrated family medicine practice, as well as training and education in biopsychosocial topics and behavioral science competencies for family medicine residents. Her clinical interests include providing brief, evidence-based interventions in integrated primary care, delivering patient-centered, trauma-informed care, chronic pain, behavioral sleep medicine, health behavior change, and chronic disease management.  

Webinar #2: Behavioral Activation: Transdiagnostic Applications in Primary Care

Dr. Eisdorfer has served a two-year fellowship in UMass Primary Care Psychology and Medical Education and is now a behavioral health clinician at the UMass Barre Family Health Center. Ethan earned his M.A. in Behavioral Medicine from Boston University and completed his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Rutgers University He came to UMass, following predoctoral internship training at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, where he completed rotations in Primary Care Behavioral Health and the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. His clinical interests include integrated primary care, mindfulness- and acceptance-based behavior therapies, and the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based behavioral health interventions. 

 

Webinar #3: Addressing Weight-Based Stigma Webinar

Ashley Mitton, PsyD is currently a second year post doctoral fellow in primary care psychology and medical education at UMass Chan Medical School. She is passionate about working with learners to provide equitable healthcare to a board range of patients, and has a special interest in addressing anti-fat bias in medicine.
