- Veteran’s Health (PGY1-2 weeks)
- Musculoskeletal Health (PGY2-3 weeks)
- Medical Education (PGY3-2 weeks)
- Women’s Health (2 weeks)
- Neurology (2 weeks)
- Palliative Care (1 week)
- Geriatrics (4 weeks over 3 years; incorporated into established curriculum/rotations) are all required by both the Categorical and Primary Care Programs
- Addiction (1 week)-new for AY2022-23
Non-Required Electives
Our primary care residents are encouraged to select electives of their choice during their non-required elective time. We recommend the following: Ophthalmology, Endocrinology/Diabetes, Dermatology, HIV clinic, ENT, and experiences in Preoperative Medicine, Travel Clinic and Addiction Medicine. Many of these experiences can be arranged during Ambulatory weeks as well.
