Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Track (AG-PCNP)

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Adult Gerontology-Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-PCNP) track is designed to prepare graduates in advanced nursing practice. This program prepares future AG-PCNPs to provide primary care services to individuals ranging in age from adolescents through senescence throughout the continuum of care, from wellness to illness, and across practice settings.  Graduates are prepared as nurse practitioners who will be leaders in clinical practice, nursing education, health policy and healthcare delivery systems.

DNP/AG-PCNP Pathways include:

  • Graduate Entry Pathway (GEP) - For non-RN’s with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a non-nursing field
  • RN with Bachelor’s degree
    • Bachelor’s of Science Degree (BSN)
    • Diploma or Associate’s degree in another non-nursing discipline (pre-graduate option)
  • Post-Master’s Certificate to DNP - A Master’s prepared nurse
